Gaia AutoMate makes its debut at PlantWorx 2025

Gaia Group Ltd Stand: RA-01
Gaia AutoMate makes its debut at PlantWorx 2025
Gaia Group will be making its first appearance at PlantWorx 2025 with AutoMate®, its advanced energy management system designed to transform the way temporary site power is controlled.

Developed to bring intelligence and efficiency to construction site energy use, AutoMate combines AI-powered sensors, smart controls, and actuators to automatically manage demand. Cabins are energised only when people are present, power is distributed to where it is needed most, and loads are balanced to ensure the whole system runs at maximum efficiency.

The result is a cleaner, quieter, and more cost-effective site. AutoMate enables generator sizes to be reduced by up to 50 per cent, with fuel savings of around £300 per week on a standard 6–8 cabin setup. Emissions can be cut by as much as 80 per cent, helping sites meet tough carbon reduction targets. At the same time, operators gain full visibility of performance through live dashboards that track fuel consumption, carbon output, air quality, and noise levels, providing data to support both sustainability reporting and on-the-ground decision making.

For contractors and hire companies, AutoMate offers a practical solution that delivers measurable savings, reduced emissions, and smarter site operations — whether retrofitted to existing setups or integrated into new builds.

As Gaia Group prepares for its PlantWorx debut, AutoMate has also been shortlisted for a PlantWorx Innovation Award, recognising the system’s role in supporting the industry’s move towards more sustainable and efficient ways of working.

Visitors can see AutoMate in action and meet the Gaia team at PlantWorx 2025, taking place at Newark Showground from 23–25 September.
