PlantWorx has always been about construction equipment in action – and this September (23rd-25th), Newark showground will come alive with machines, live demos, and new technology. A new addition for 2025 is the drag race challenge – and no, not sequins and stilettos, but one built on raw horsepower, and a touch of friendly competition.

Ford Rangers from Evans Halshaw will go head-to-head down the runway, each towing Brian James Trailers loaded with machines from OEMs, including Manitou and Avant. It’s a test of strength and control as well as a spectacle, running every 30–45 minutes throughout the show, with a temporary 4x4 course alongside for even more live action.

This is just one reason PlantWorx 2025 is unmissable. With 300 exhibitors already confirmed – including 107 brand new names and 17 of the world’s leading OEMs – the UK’s largest working construction event is the place to see what’s next in the industry.
