What kind of challenges can I expect?

• This year’s challenge will put operators to the test with eight timed events, each cleverly inspired by classic board games. Designed to push accuracy, control, and creative flair, the course offers a high-energy, fun-filled arena for skilled operators to shine. Plus, two bonus head-to-head activities will be open to all accredited attendees – so everyone has a chance to join in the action

What prizes are available for the winners?

• The competition offers fantastic rewards - including trophies, goodie bags for the top five runners-up, and a holiday for two worth £3,000 for the overall winner. It’s a great opportunity to make construction history and earn recognition as one of the UK’s top machine operators. Daily prizes will be up for grabs in each challenge, while the overall winner will be crowned based on the lowest total time across all eight games. This format rewards not just speed, but consistent precision – setting a new standard for operator excellence.

What types of machines will be used in the challenges?

• Yes! Two interactive demo zones will run alongside the competition, offering visitors the chance to get hands-on with a variety of small to mid-sized equipment in a relaxed, pressure-free setting. On-site catering will be available throughout the challenge area to keep everyone refreshed and ready to go.
