Hendy Power to debut FPT Industrial engines at Plantworx
Visitors to Plantworx will be able to learn more about the very latest engines from FPT Industrial with Hendy Power set to showcase the most compact and powerful engines from the FPT Industrial range. Hendy Power is the award-winning marine and industrial engine division of the Hendy Group and is the FPT Industrial authorised distributor for the UK and Ireland for sales and services for on-road, off-road, power generation and marine applications. Hendy Power, which was set up in 1968 is making its debut at Plantworx as it looks to expand its supply into the construction market.  The company says it offers an extensive range of services, including new engine supply, 24-hour engine breakdown callouts, outstanding aftermarket service support and OEM parts. Alan Reason, power brand manager, said that FPT Industrial engines on display at Plantworx will include the very latest F28 Stage V which he says offers operators a more compact engine than previously, but still offers the efficiency and high power needed in the construction industry. Alan said, “FPT Industrial has more than a century of experience with ongoing research and development to provide users with high quality, fuel-efficient, lightweight engines designed to guarantee maximum performance and efficiency along with industry-leading service intervals. Benefits also include a service life of 600 hours which is better than some competitors and illustrates the efficiency and quality of the engine.  The engine is particularly suited to those in the mineral processing and quarrying industries." Alan continued, “The engine offers high power for users in a lightweight, efficient and compact unit and Plantworx offers us the ideal opportunity to raise the profile of FPT Industrial engines and Hendy Power as a supplier in this market." Hendy Power will be on stand B-FA9 with a team of experts on hand to discuss the FPT Industrial engines and their applications in the construction industry.
