GAP’s latest specialist divisions – see them in action at Plantworx 2023.
GAP Hire Solutions, the UK’s largest independent hire company, will be showcasing its three latest divisions, Trenching & Shoring, Tanker Services and Pump Services, alongside its 7 other divisions at Plantworx 2023.
Since its launch, GAP’s specialist Trenching and Shoring division has worked with their supplier, EZE-Shoring, to develop a lightweight, 100% non-conductive shoring solution for reactive and non-reactive utility excavations. Moreover, GAP is the only UK supplier that can offer EZE Shoring which can be manually erected and transported with ease. The hire company can also offer an in-house temporary works design and technical support service across the UK, and are able to deliver end-to-end temporary works solutions including hydraulics, trench-box davits and edge protection.
Another recent addition to the hire fleet has been the Tanker Services division. GAP has made significant investment in over 75 waste and water tankers ranging from 26 tonnes to 4×4. The specialist Tanker division is able to empty, clean and sanitise any size of effluent tanks, and provide customers with water fills in difficult-to-reach sites anywhere in the country. The investment in this division enables GAP to be an integrated welfare supplier and a truly national tanker company.
Furthermore, significant investment has been made towards GAP’s newest division, Pump Services. The hire company’s fleet is equipped exclusively with Stage V Pumps, making them some of the most eco-friendly pumps in the industry. GAP Pumps are colour coded for their different uses: blue pumps are used for sewage and white pumps are used for drainage to avoid the risk of cross-contamination. The specialist pump services divisions primarily handle enquiries for specialist fluid movement from basic dewatering to dedicated system designs.
These latest divisions add to the hire company’s seven other specialist offerings which include Plant, Tools, Lifting, Survey & Safety, Welfare, Non-Mechanical, and Event Services.
