What are the dates and times of the Show?

Where is the Show held?

Halls 17 to 20 with Outdoor Exhibition and Demo space - NEC Birmingham, Pendigo Way, Marston Green, Birmingham, B40 1NT

Do I need to register for the Show?

Yes, register at plantworx.co.uk. Entry to PlantWorx is free – there is no cost associated with visiting the show.

Can children visit the Show?

No children under 16 will be allowed on site during build-up and break-down. On show days, children between 12 and 16 years will be admitted as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult. However, we highly recommend that children attend on Day 3, the Student Day, as it will be much more beneficial and enjoyable for them, with lots of activities and interaction to encourage them to join our industry. On this day children under 12 years will be allowed full access but they must be accompanied by an adult.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, there is plenty of parking available on site.

Is there disabled parking on site?

The venue is suitable for wheelchair access. There is disabled car parking opposite the hall entrance and you must display a blue badge to park in this area. For more information about disabled access, please view the NEC website.

Are there EV Charging points on site?

There is limited electric vehicle charging points on site. Please visit Zap Map to locate a charging point.

Is there WI-FI available at the Show?

Visitors to the NEC can connect to free WI-FI across the venue, enabling them to stay connected to their home, office and social media networks whilst at the shows.

Is there a cash point on site?

Cash points (with a charge payable) are available outside the halls.

Will there be catering outlets on site?

There are restaurants and coffee carts open during the shows within the halls. In addition, the NEC offers several restaurants and snack outlets.

What should I wear?

PlantWorx takes place both indoors and outdoors, and although there are plenty of walkways we suggest that visitors wear sturdy, suitable footwear. Sandals, flip-flops, high-heels, and Converse are not suitable. Please also allow for British summer weather – raincoats, wellies and sun cream.

Are dogs or other animals allowed at the show?

No. Unless required for assistance, animals are not permitted on site at any time.

Can I attend more than one day?

Yes. There is so much to see – you may wish to return for a second or third day. Your badge is valid for all three days of the Show.

Can I take part in the Operator Challenge?

Yes, if you are over 18 and have the correct operator qualifications. Find more details here. Please note you will have to register for both PlantWorx and the Competition.

How will I receive my entry badge?

You will receive your badge via email on registering. Close to the show the team will also send out your badge via email to ensure you have easy access. If you don't have it ready you can also print on-site.

Is the show free to attend?

Entry to PlantWorx is free – there is no cost associated with visiting the Show.

How do I get an entry badge to the Show?

Register for your badge on the website. Your badge will be available to download. Scroll to the bottom of the welcome page to find the link.

I haven’t got a printer – how do I get my badge?

Come to PlantWorx on the day you have registered – visit the entrance – give the registration staff your name – they can then print your badge for you.
