Winget Ltd., a name synonymous with quality British manufacturing for over a century, is proud to announce the appointment of David Probert to lead the company going forward. David’s extensive experience and leadership will be invaluable as we look to build on our rich heritage and drive the future of our brand.
David joins us with a distinguished career history in the construction and engineering sectors. Most recently, he served as Business Development Director with Seddon Plant & Engineers, a fellow member of the Seddon Engineering Group. His background includes a remarkable 15 years with Hilti, where he held senior management positions in the UK, USA, and at their international headquarters. David has also gained diverse experience with companies in the aviation, automotive, and temporary access industries, including HAKI.
“I am honored to be taking the helm at a company with such a long and respected history,” said David Probert. “My focus will be on evaluating our brand strategy, product range, and manufacturing processes to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our customers. We are looking to fine-tune our existing lines and develop new products that will allow us to explore exciting new opportunities.”

With exports accounting for 50% of our turnover, David is committed to strengthening our global presence and expanding our partnerships, especially with equipment hirers.
