Plantforce power into the North
A leading UK Plant Hire provider Plantforce has announced a new depot opening as part of their Northern depot expansion plan. The new location in Bury, just northeast of Manchester will see Plantforce reinforce its position as a national Tier 1 plant hire supplier. The new Bury location will offer both self-drive and operated plant and machine from the company's cornerstone of products such as excavators, ADT’s, dozers, and compaction equipment. In addition, other products and services from their specialist divisions will also be available in the area.
With machinery available such as crushers, screeners, hydraulic and mechanical attachments, compact plant and equipment and services from their long-established Digital division that offer a full range of machine control solutions, contractors in the region now have a large range of modern and high-spec machinery to draw on from an innovative, dedicated, and knowledgeable team. Building north from the established location in Stratford-upon-Avon, delivering the highest levels of customer service is a key driver for their Northern expansion plan. With a culture that is customer-focused, Plantforce understands that having a local depot is a key part of being able to deliver the high levels of service they demand. However, this is not where the work stops. Plantforce plans to continue its ESG agenda in the Bury location by encouraging the staff in the new depot to complete charitable acts and activities using their annual paid volunteer day to make a difference in the community they operate in. A model that has proven successful in their other six depots. Plantforce MD, Claire Trott, said; “Opening a new depot in Bury is an exciting development that will give us a real foothold to expand our growth in the North West of the country. This region is a key part of our growth strategy and with large infrastructure projects in addition to the ongoing regeneration works, we are committed to improving the service we provide to our large base of customers in the area”.
